This completely editable syllabus can be used as a back-to-school handout for students or a parent handout for back-to-school night or open house. Included are classroom rules, consequences, necessary supplies, and policies for homework, absent students and late work. Use the parts you like and want to keep, and tailor the sections you need to change to meet your needs. While this syllabus is designed for 8th grade English, it can be easily adapted for any middle school or high school classroom subject.
