Rejoice! It’s the End of the School Year

We’re so eager for summer, we sometimes forget about all the things we have to do for the last few weeks of school, one of which is celebrating a successful year with our students.  For those of you who didn’t have a great year, it’s time for you to rejoice, you never have to see this group of kids again, at least not in your classroom. So sit back, have a Margarita, or something else you love and breathe a sigh of relief.

With Asian hate crimes on the rise and anti-Asian sentiment in the news, this was the perfect time to learn all about the many contributions of AAPI.

Five Assumptions about Distance Learning-Why it’s Not Working for Every Child!

By Vicki Rauch of Scipi

My husband and I have taught together for over 80 years. We continue to do so because we love what we do; however, we are very disturbed by the terms Virtual Learning or Distance Learning or On-Line Learning. Now don’t get the idea that because we are “old”, we don’t or can’t use technology. Technology is part of our lives, especially in our teaching, but when we hear Distance Learning, many people make assumptions that simply aren’t true.

By Deann Marin of Socrates Lantern

Summer is the time for fun, fun, fun! School is out no more hitting the books. The only problem is that much of what was learned during the school year is forgotten, “out of sight, out of mind.” Not so with these fun educational activities that will keep the children looking for more and not even realizing they’re learning.

Members of TBOTEMC’s Teacher Talk write educational blog posts on their personal blogs. If you don’t have time to maintain a blog, use our TBOTE blogs or TBOTEMC WordPress blog.  Teacher Talk blog posts follow an 80% content/20% promotion guideline in which members write about a particular topic and then include a link to a TpT product to help readers implement the teaching ideas.  Each month, the Teacher Talk members’ blog posts are promoted on our five TBOTEMC blogs.  All of the blog links are also promoted on each members’ blogs, Teacher Talk Pinterest board, and TBOTEMC Facebook page.  At the end of the year, all of the Teacher Talk blog posts are listed in our “100+ Free Lessons & Teaching Ideas By Teacher Talk” eBook.  These Teacher Talk eBooks are promoted again in all of our holiday eBooks, on Pinterest and Facebook, and in our Rafflecopter Giveaway Contests.  Thus, through the power of cross-promotion, your one blog post will be promoted again and again long after you have written the initial blog post.

Members advertise a free product and a priced product in our free Back to School, Winter Holiday, Valentine’s Day, and End of the Year eBooks.  They also include the links to their TpT store, personal blog, and social media sites.  The eBooks are promoted on our five blogs, Pinterest page, Facebook page, and Rafflecopter Giveaway Contests.  More importantly, all of the holiday and Teacher Talk eBooks are promoted again in each new eBook. The time you spent to create one product page for our eBook will help you gain more followers to your social media sites and bring more potential buyers to your TpT store for years to come.

TBOTEMC always has our THREE $100 GIVEAWAYS of TpT Gift Certificates which are held during the TpT Sitewide Sales.  We also have other Rafflecopter Giveaway Contests like our $100 PayPal CA$H, Amazon gift cards, and other giveaways throughout the year.  TBOTEMC members who join this promotion may ask contest participants to follow their TpT store, personal blog, Pinterest board, Facebook page, or Instagram page; subscribe to their email list; or promote their free product or priced product at TpT. Members are then given the link so that the Rafflecopter Contest is displayed on their personal blogs.  TBOTEMC provides the $100 prizes and participating members promote the giveaways.

Take our THREE $100 GIVEAWAYS of TpT Gift Certificates and other prizes one step further and use it to build your personal email list.  Open a free Mail Chimp account.  Add a subscriber pop-up to your personal blog and entice potential buyers to subscribe to your email list so that they will be notified of the THREE $100 GIVEAWAYS of TpT Gift Certificates and other Rafflecopter Giveaway Contests.  You will then be able to tell potential buyers on your growing email list to go to your personal blog and try to win our latest Rafflecopter Contests during the TpT Sitewide Sales and throughout the year.

Swap TpT products with other TBOTEMC members as you write endorsements for each other.  Partners may also exchange student samples and student photos of the TpT lessons used in the classrooms

“I joined The Best of Teacher Entrepreneurs Marketing Cooperative about a year and a half ago on a whim.  I loved TpT from the start, but I needed some connections…something beyond the forums.  I got the membership on sale that day thinking I would try it out and just see how things go.  I never looked back.  Membership in this group has helped me break free of my comfort zones and take my store to the next level.  The group members are supportive, and Vicky is always available for individual help and guidance.  I feel like I have my own TpT personal trainer!  Although my original purpose for joining this group was to learn some serious marketing strategies, it has turned out to be so much more.  I now collaborate with teachers from all over the country!  Some of us even met in person in Vegas and Orlando.  Not only have I improved my TpT marketing, but I have also made friends for life!  If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected].  I can earn a referral credit if you join and mention my name (Monica) and store Fourth Grade Frenzy which is not required, but appreciated!” -Monica https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Fourth-Grade-Frenzy

“Since joining, I can say that this group has really made the HUGE TpT community feel smaller and more reachable.  There is so much shared marketing knowledge, so many dedicated marketing groups that you can join, and Vicky has been such a great help with any and all questions I have had.  I love being my own boss, but sometimes I can lose track of how to spend my time.  The Best of Teacher Entrepreneurs Marketing Cooperative has helped me focus the time I spend marketing, and keep my marketing goals on track.

That is when I discovered Vicky’s product. Dear Vicky,
I just wanted to share how TBOTEMC  is changing my life – I have attached my latest data. I did not post this to boast, only to show you the positive impact TBOTEMC is having on my success.  In the last eight months, I have made more than I make in a year teaching in the classroom.   I love teaching, but I love creating resources just as much!
Feel free to use the data with others to help encourage others to join.
I am not sure thank you will ever be enough for how you and TpT have changed my life.  With you and TBOTEMC, I am doing things I only previous dreamed of doing.
I always loved creating educational resources, but I never dreamed I could have financial success as a teacher.
Thank you! Thank You! THANK YOU!
