Pre-Kindergarten – 1st Grade

This free resource includes CAFÉ headers for comprehension, accuracy, fluency, and expanding vocabulary. There are color coded strategy cards to go with each header. The 32 strategy cards are based on The Sisters’ CAFÉ strategies for emergent readers. The first set of strategy cards also includes the related kindergarten Common Core standards. I included a second set of the strategy cards that do not contain the kindergarten standards, so the cards can be used in multiple grade levels.

This set is an unofficial adaption of CAFÉ by Gail Boushey and Joan Moser. This set is not endorsed by The Sisters.
