This assessment assesses a child’s reading fluency and comprehension in kindergarten and the beginning of first grade. The assessment measures a child’s fluency not only by rate but also accuracy, expression, and smoothness. Comprehension is measured through questions that come from the text that was read. Multiple assessment pages allows a teacher to assess their students throughout the year to show growth and progress in their children’s abilities.
