Directions: Use the Venn Diagram to make text-to-self connections between you and your book. Stop and ask yourself… “Has this ever happened to me?” or “How is this book similar to my life? The middle section represents the things that you and the book have in common. Everything else represents the differences between your life and the book.
I used this worksheet for in-class independent reading assignments and homework.
