I created a class set of Calm-Down Glitter Jars for my kindergarteners’ Christmas presents! I have another jar I keep in the classroom. They are great to keep in your calm-down center of your room. Instruct and model how to shake up the bottles and watch the glitter to calm down when feeling frustrated, sad, angry, etc. I also let my children hold a calm-down jar during rest time. They are also fun to use as a transition tool. Everyone must try to clean up tables and be on the carpet by the time the glitter settles! Enjoy your glitter bottle and let me know how you use it in your classroom!
