FREE MATH LESSON – “FREE Math Counting How Many More To Make Ten? Pilgrim Color Version”

by Learning Harbor Resources for Teachers

Pre-Kindergarten – 1st Grade

This task card activity provides counting and fine motor skill practice at the same time. A student looks at the number of objects that the character is holding, then he counts on to see how many more are needed to make ten. The student can mark his answers by clipping a clothes pin onto the answer, by covering the answer with a mini eraser, button, or any small game markers that you have in your classroom. I suggest laminating the cards for durability. If the cards are laminated, the students can circle the correct answer with a wipe off marker or crayon. To make the cards self-correcting put a small sticker or draw a star over the correct answer on the back of the card.
