This is a Quiz style review game for St. Mary. It is perfect for homeschool, Catholic school, Sunday school, religious education, middle school, high school, and even adult learners, including teachers! This could be played by a single person, or as a whole class review (small groups). The answers to all of the game questions are visible when the questions are clicked. All questions and answers can be edited.

The game is in PowerPoint, but you can simply upload to your Google Drive as Google Slides, and share with your students using Google Classroom. An easy Google Link has been provided.

This is an arts integrated smartboard lesson. Students will learn about the Earth’s natural rresources and about the art of Andy Goldsworthy. There are several interactive pages for the class to complete. The lesson concludes with the students going on a nature walk around the school to collect materials to create their own Earth art. This is a great lesson for Earth Day.

• Analyze the persuasive techniques/appeals being used by both sides of the issue (including ethos, pathos, and logos)
• Pick from a list of 25 extension questions to answer
• Present their research findings to the class (while the audience takes notes)
• Optional: Hold a class “election” to see where students now stand on issues

Kindergarten – 3rd Grade

Thanks for downloading this freebie! This game is a fun way for your students to practice their sight words. Place all the cards in a container. Students take turns drawing a card. If they can read the word on the card, they get to keep it. If they don’t know the word, they put it back in the container. If a student draws a “broken egg!” card, he/she must put all his/her cards back into the container. The “broken egg!” card gets put to the side. Once all the cards are drawn, the winner is the person with the most cards. I usually put my students in groups of 2 to 4 to play this game. Laminate the cards for extra durability. Make Your Own Hand Clocks

These clocks are easy to make and they are very helpful for children as they learn to read the analog clock. Using the hand helps them to remember to count by fives when they see the minute hand pointing at a number.

I liked the idea of using a pointer finger instead of arrows as it also made it more obvious for the children.
