This is a fun, engaging, and standards-driven group project that gets students of all kinds of learning style excited about COMMAS!
My 5th grade students had a hard time grasping the many comma rules we learn, and using them when needed in their writing. We did worksheets, scavenger hunts, edited paragraphs, etc. but they never really caught on until we did this project in small groups! 🙂
