Solve ’n Switch is a simple and fun math partner activity to be used with a deck of task cards. In a nutshell, students seated in pairs each take a task card, solve the problem, switch task cards, solve the new problem, and then check answers. It’s great for cooperative learning partners and math centers. This packet includes several sets of directions as well as a dozen sets of free math task cards. This activity is intended for practice and is not meant to be graded. After students play Solve ’n Switch, you can follow up with an independent assignment or quiz.
