This package consists of 16 STRIPED FRAMES I originally designed to be used for task cards. I offered a sample of how to use these for task cards in the file but these can be used for many other things as well.

I wanted to have a little of bit of color without the high cost of colour printing and these were perfect to add a bit of colour.

Addition Tic-Tac-Toe Math Center are designed to give students practice with 3-digit addition without regrouping.

Students work with a partner to play tic-tac-toe with a twist. Each space on the tic-tac-toe board is marked with an addition problem. In order to cover the space, the student must correctly solve the problem and find the card with the matching solution to claim the space. Traditional tic-tac-toe rules apply. To win, a student must get 3 in a row or 3 in a column or 3 diagonally.

Every year I have a few students who have trouble answering comprehension questions. I found that it is mostly because they don’t understand the first word of the question (or they went too fast and didn’t pay attention to it!) I’ve spent a lot of time this year discussing what type of answers they should have for a ‘who’ question, ‘where’ question, etc. I created a few posters to help my kids and wanted to share them in case someone needed help with the same thing! We talk about if the ? starts with ‘Who’, then their answer will be a person or character. I’ve also been having them write their answers to EVERYTHING using complete sentences. I’ve taught them how to use the question to make their answers. This has also helped them answer questions correctly. I’ve included two worksheets for this at the end. Product Description

Les cartes éclair et les affiches intitulées « Les collations nutritives » font parties de la série « Apprendre à lire ».

Le gabarit inclut aussi deux activités d’écriture guidée. Les élèves peuvent soit réécrire les phrases ou les tracer.

Les élèves apprendront ce qui consiste une collation saine et apprendront aussi à lire les phrases qui se trouvent sur les affiches et les cartes éclaires. En début d’apprentissage, les phrases sont accompagnées d’image. Plus tard, le défi sera de lire les mots et les phrases sans les images.

Le vocabulaire à l’étude : yogourt, collations, fruits, légumes et fromage.

La répétition du mot « voici », « ma », « des » et « du ».

De plus, l’enseignant(e) peut faire remarquer aux élèves les lettres majuscules et la ponctuation à la fin de la phrase.

End of Year Reflection: Dear Next Year’s Class. Provide your students with the opportunity to reflect upon how they have grown through the year. Encourage your students to reflect upon their year and personal successes and highlights, with this fun project! By writing letters for the incoming class (or creating a reference booklet by stapling all of their letters together) students take time to really think about the year. It’s a great opportunity to encourage conversation and reflection and next year’s class will love it too!
