Your students will have so much fun with this digital memory matching game for practicing recognition of fractions. Perfect for Distance Learning or paperless learning in class! The different difficulty levels allow for easy differentiated learning. This fun math game is a digital resource, so there is no printing required.

In this FREEBIE your students will need to match fraction circles to symbols for fractions ranging from halves to fifths.

There are 3 difficulty levels to choose from for each version of the game:

* Easy (8 cards)

* Medium (12 cards)

* Difficult (16 cards)

The game is hosted on my website, www.colleenscosmiccollection.co.za. It is an online game and therefore requires an internet connection. Neither you nor your students will be required to create an account in order to access the game – all you need is the link, which you will receive in a pdf when you purchase this product.

How to use:

In order to allow your students to play the games, you simply need to share the link with them (through Google Classroom or via email).

Alternatively, if you wish to assign a specific difficulty level to your students, you can click on the link and then select the level by clicking on it. Once you have navigated to the correct level game, you can copy the link of that page and share it with your students.

Enrollment in this workshop is rolling and free, and attendees can proceed through materials at their own pace.

This black and white printable page is great for home practice for students working on syntax and grammar!! Check out the entire year set here! I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to leave feedback and a rating for this freebie ☺

Each page gives 6 sentences with a fill in the blank space for students to complete. There are answer options provided for students to choose from. Answer keys are also provided.

Students answer the questions and then they can color the spaces with the number that corresponds to the question they answered. They can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

These are a great option to send home for speech therapy students working at the 1st-3rd grade level. They look fun and low stress while still addressing multiple goals. They are also appropriate for older students functioning at a 1st – 3rd grade level who need work on fine motor skills!

This Earth Day, give your students this report card and have them evaluate how “green” their school / classroom / home is.

There are three different report cards: one for the whole school, one for the classroom, and one for the home. You could either have all students complete both the school and classroom report card, or divide your class into two groups and have one group complete the school card, and one group complete the classroom card. Students could then compare the results to see how their classroom compares to the school. Home report cards could be taken home for students to complete with their parents.

Use this Pig the Pug directed drawing activity to pair with any Pig the Pug book by Aaron Blabey. To turn it into a Pig the Winner drawing have students finish by drawing a 1st place medal around his neck!

Your kiddos will love recreating “Pig” and his grumpy pug face.

When they are finished they can use crayons, markers, or watercolors to color him in!

This directed drawing set includes one page with pictures only and 3 pages with pictures and instruction. Feel free to use this product for distance learning if desired!

This is an arts integrated smartboard lesson. Students will learn about the Earth’s natural rresources and about the art of Andy Goldsworthy. There are several interactive pages for the class to complete. The lesson concludes with the students going on a nature walk around the school to collect materials to create their own Earth art. This is a great lesson for Earth Day.

April Fools is a great, light-hearted day, so it’s a lot of fun in elementary school. Your students will be so surprised that this cute little spring word search is a complete joke! I always try to keep a straight face (but it’s so hard!) as I pass out their word search. I make sure I haven’t mentioned anything about April Fools Day before I give this to them, so of course I give it to them first thing in the morning! It’s such a fun way to start our April Fools Day full of giggles and smiles. Gotcha!

This joke word search is set up to resemble an actual spring-themed worksheet, but the words in the word bank are nowhere to be found!

One exception: April.
Your clever students will find that the term “April” actually extends to form the term April Fools Day!
