The Spelling Flip Book is designed to help young learners become familiar with spelling rules and to incorporate them into their work.
Students can color and personalize their flip books to enhance the spelling learning experience.
I always like encouraging my students to use their flip books as reference sheets when they are working to promote good spelling habits. The goal is that eventually, by using the flipbook when working, the student will begin to remember common errors made in the past and correct them. I have had much success with this strategy in my classes.
I’ve also included a color copy and an answer key – a total of 18 pages.

This is a free sample of our Math Art worksheets. This download includes one worksheet requiring the pupils to evaluate expressions using algebraic substitution. Once pupils have completed the questions they need to shade all the squares with that answer in the color stated. This results in a Valentine’s image. This download includes both the UK and US versions taking into account the spelling differences.
Our purchasable Math Art has at least two, usually three differentiated worksheets per topic.
Math Art combines the fun of coloring and the consolidation of mathematical skills. Ideal as a plenary activity to determine what learning has taken place, alternatively use to determine pupils prior knowledge to a topic and of course great for revision.
All our resources come complete with instructions, solutions where appropriate and ideas to stretch and support pupils. Check out www.numberloving.co.uk for more ideas and resources like this. “When it comes to adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers, many students have great difficulty. In reality, it is a very confusing and abstract idea; so, it is important to give the students a concrete visual to assist them in seeing the solution. Find out how I teach this concept to my remedial college math students in my newest blog post. “
This clip chart is used to track students’ progress as they go through the writing process. Students change their clip after conferencing with an adult so that students can work at different paces. This helps with differentiation for writing.
