In this fun and FREE persuasive Christmas-themed prompt, students are asked to debate Santa’s gender!! It is set up like a letter to the editor, so they have a “real” audience as well.

The task cards for students as well as fun Christmas stationery and even sample responses from my students are included!

Suggested Common Core standards are included. Have a little Christmas fun while reviewing basic letter writing skills and persuasive writing!
