Figurative Language and Poetic Devices Jeopardy Game

Are you looking for a new way of introducing poetic devices in your class? This PowerPoint document is a great way to review poetic terms or to help students learn them.

I play this game from grade 9 to grade 12 and all of the students love them.

Directions on how to play the game are also included.

FREE MISC. LESSON – “Behavior Reports in English and Spanish”

by Ruth Edge
Pre-Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

Weekly Behavior Reports with a teddy bear theme are available here in English and Spanish. What Kind of Day Did I Have? and What Kind of Day Did I Have in Kindergarten are both in this file so that it can be used for any primary grade or even Pre-K. The Spanish translation has really helped me since I teach in a school with a high concentration of Spanish speaking ELL students. This helped me better communicate with all my parents and behavior issues have dropped significantly. I hope it helps you also.
