FREE SOCIAL STUDIES LESSON – “Immigration Reading Passages FREE”

by Reading and Writing Redhead
1st – 5th Grade

These reading passages are from my complete and comprehensive immigration unit (link below) . The passages focus on why people immigrated to American in the 1700s and 1800s. The passages are written at two different difficulty levels so you can differentiate as needed and each passage includes the same set of comprehension questions. The passages are appropriate for students in grades 1-5 depending on their reading level.

This is a sample from a comprehensive, in-depth resource for second grade, third grade and fourth grade on immigration. Click if you’d like to see it: Coming to America: An Immigration Unit !
