FREE MATH LESSON – “Gold Coins Missing Numbers 0-20 FREEBIE”

by Sherry Clements

Pre-Kindergarten – 1st Grade

Gold Coins Missing Numbers 0-20 FREEBIE —

This two page freebie gives students the opportunity to practice writing numbers 0-10 on one page and 11-20 on the second page. The first and last numbers on each page are included to get the students started. Numbers are written on gold coin shapes to give motivation for the skill. A number line is included at the top of both pages to aid students in writing the numbers correctly and in order.

These pages can be laminated or put in a page protector for a math center and have students fill in the correct numbers with a dry erase marker. Then wipe the sheets off, and they are ready for another student.

They can also be used as a race to the end activity. Make two copies of the chosen sheet 0-10 or 11-20. Have two students see who can correctly fill in the numbers first without writing them backwards and making sure they are written neatly so they can be read.

I hope your students have fun with this FREE number writing activity!

Please leave me some love/feedback–Thanks!

Other teachers who’ve tried my seasonal grammar worksheets shared these classroom success stories:
♥ “This was a fun activity for my SAT Prep class. The examples were great for high school – they weren’t too elementary for 10th and 11th graders. They enjoyed the examples and I liked that they weren’t too easy and weren’t too hard – great for review and discussion.”
♥ “These were so fun to use, and with so many options, I was able to use some with one level and some with another which helped since I have multiple kids taking both classes and I hate to have them do the same thing!”
♥ “Another excellent product from Team Faulkner. Great product. A true time saver.”

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON – “Valentine Writing {FREE}”

by Growing Smart Readers

Kindergarten – 3rd Grade

Have students write a thank you for being a friend, or a letter to tell someone why they are special. Writing a Valentine letter is a great alternative to a store-bought card.

Make it ANY day letter writing, Not just Valentine’s Day!
These brief letter template letters are versatile and applicable for ANY day to write and send.

They are not necessarily Valentine specific! But the bows and hearts do make it a Valentine-theme.

There are just a few lines for the body, but that’s so the kids just get the gist of the parts of a letter.

* 1 page for “parts of a friendly letter”
* 3 letter writing frames (with sentence stems)
* 6 stationery pages (no words) with lines for the 5 parts of a letter.
* Some have colored graphics, some are black and white.

Great for struggling writers who WANT to write, but have difficulty getting started.

Include in your writing center–Or teach the parts of a friendly letter, and hand this out for homework.

Younger children may even want to write a letter to a favorite stuffed toy! 🙂 Great practice even if they do not send their letters!

Thanks for stopping by! Please let me know if this was just what you were looking for!
