In this coloring activity, students will determine whether a number is odd or even, then decide if the number is prime or composite. When finished solving the problems, they will color a picture based on their answers. There are 14 questions.

For example, you can make the number 87 by building 87 strips and the seven strip to make 87. You can also use these to add and subtract two digit numbers and can go beyond 100. Digital Mystery Picture Multiplication is a digital activity created with Google Sheets to be used with Google Classroom or compatible programs. Students will have fun revealing the mystery picture while practicing multiplication facts in this digital math activity. It’s a great unit for distance learning.

*Note: You nor the students need to have extensive knowledge of Google Sheets in order to use this product.

More Information:

This unit includes one mystery picture. Students will type the answer to a multiplication problem. As students type in each answer, several pixels will appear. When all questions have been answered correctly, the picture will be completed.

SORTING CENTER with FREE Pattern Task Cards.

The Sorting Center full product includes:
• 12 workmats in all (4 sorting workmats for each season-fall, winter, spring) • 23 pages of sorting pictures.

Each season contains a theme of sorting pictures.
•Fall- apples, leaves and pumpkins
•Winter- elves’ feet, presents, mittens
•Spring- stars (3 different sheets and designs), people, geometric shapes, and flowers.

There are 23 pages of sorting pictures created so that each group can be sorted in a multitude of ways (beside shape and size). There are over 360 pictures in all!

I would suggest laminating the sheets before putting them in the center.

Included as a BONUS are 28 pattern cards.
There are 8-12 task cards for each season using one of the printables from the sorting center. Each of the cards are color coded for easy organization.

I was getting ready to pay for my meal at a buffet when I noticed the cashier’s name tag. It read “Anna” to which I replied, “Your name is a palindrome!” The cashier just stared at me in disbelief. I explained that a palindrome was letters that read the same backwards as forwards. Because you could read her name forwards and backwards, it qualified as a palindrome. In fact, February 22, 2022 will be a palindrome if written as 2-22-22!

EDITED OCTOBER 17, 2015- I CHANGED THE ENDING OF THE STORY . This package consists of AN ORIGINAL PENGUIN SUBTRACTION STORY with a printable SUBTRACTION BOOK to help you teach the concept of subtraction when covering a winter or penguin unit of study.
