FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON – “Independent Reading Program: Book Selfie Station Freebie”

by Spark Creativity

6th – 12th Grade

Reading programs are most successful when students have a chance to share the books they love with each other. Nothing fuels reading like the recommendation of a great book from a friend.

Use this quick and easy “Book Selfie” set to set up a spot for your students to snap photos of themselves with their favorite books.

Then create a “Recommended Reading” display with posters you make on Canva using their photos (directions included!). Use the included heading letters for an easy and beautiful bulletin board, and watch as the books your students love most fly off your shelves.

This is a brand new product for me, so if you and your students enjoy it, please consider leaving a review.

This activity is also part of my full independent reading program, a solid, year-long solution to the “I hate reading” problem. I think you’re going to love it!
